Hikari brings the elegant Zen ritual of Japanese tea to the West with premium matcha and loose-leaf teas.
To Hikari founder Julia, who grew up in the mountains of Kumamoto, the rich history and culture surrounding Japanese teas is an integral part of truly enjoying them. By drawing inspiration from Zen garden design, we created a tactile packaging line that invites you to pause and take in the moment with all your senses.
Trace your fingers along the embossed lines while taking in the scent of your new daily ritual before indulging in your premium artisanal tea of choice.
The lines on the Bamboo ‘Chasen’ Whisk packaging swirl around the box in a W shape inspired by the W motion used to mix and froth matcha.
